Jagadia, Bharuch industrial area is located in the Sourthern part of Gujarat. Government of India has planned to develop a Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC)linking Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai.

The proposed DFC passes through Six states in India, of which, Gujarat accounts for 38% (564 km.) of total DFC length(1483km.)

Dahej Port operated by Gujarat Maritime Board (GMB), has made significant contribution.
