Leather Technology Park has been developed at cost of Rs.2400 lacs, near Kanpur at Banthar, Unnao on Kanpur-Lucknow Highway for setting up tanneries and leather goods units.
In this park, a 4.5 mld Common effluent treatment plant (CETP) has been set up by Tanners Association Co. and several Facilities for Training and Design Centre, Technological Support Service, Quality Control for Saddlery and Export Management has been set up by NLDP supported International Institute for Saddlery and Export Management..
