Nashik(Ambad) is an industrial area located in Maharashtra, India.
Water: Sufficient water is available from the Gangapur dam through the existing Anandwali feeder. A common water supply scheme is available to cater 24 MLD of water for Satpur and Ambad industrial areas.
Roads: The Satpur and Ambad areas are connected internally by multiple lane roads, of good quality and, with under ground services like water supply. The width of the main road is 45 m and the widths of the internal roads are 20 and 25 m. All the roads of the internal industrial area are handed over to Nashik Mahanagar Corporation for maintenance.
Connectivity: A dedicated electronic exchange having 10,000 lines is commissioned in Satpur and in Ambad Industrial Areas. The exchange is connected to Nashik city and facilities local dialing by prefixing the 95253 code.
Residential Facilities: CIDCO and HDFC have already developed residential facilities adjacent to the industrial area.
Electricity: The industrial area is powered by 132 KV / 33 KV / 11KV, having capacity of 100 MVA and 33 KV,11 KV, 15 MVA substations which are available in the area.
Common Facility Centre: Common facility centres in Ambad include an ESIS Hospital, excise office, canteen, bank, etc. to facilitate the industrialists.
Police Station: MIDC has allotted a plot ad measuring around 8100 sq.mt. for police station, police quarters and other facilities.
Support Facilities: MIDC has allotted a plot for Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) for their Depot and bus services etc. Buses from Nashik and Satpur are easily available.
