Sanand is an industrial area and a municipality in Ahmedabad district in the Indian state of Gujarat. It is best known as the automobile hub of Gujarat. The gas distribution within the factory will be done by companies own cost. GIDC will provide water at the factory doorstep. As per norms GIDC will provide 13.5 KLD/ ha area of land allotted. For liquid waste –NIL (The company has to take it to ETPs.). For solid waste–Two disposal facilities are available, Naroda & Vatva. The company has to transport their solid waste to these sites themselves. The sites are around 50 km form Sanand.
