MIDC has developed an industrial area on 380.52 hectares of land, 6 km equidistant from Sangli and Miraj city on Pune-Miraj State Highway.
The land came into MIDC possession in 1971 and development work began in 1973. Presently, the area is fully developed with infrastructural facilities in place. Plots allotted: Industrial Zone: 790 , Commercial zone: 29, Residential Zone: 17, Amenities Zone: 37, Readymade sheds: 61 with an area of more than 275 hectares.
Water: The corporation has made its own arrangements for supplying pure water to the industrial, commercial and residential units of the area.
