The journey of Vatva Industrial Estate, Ahmedabad started in the year 1968, when GIDC took steps to initialize the industrial revolution of Gujarat. 

VATVA is one of the oldest and largest industrial estates in the state, spread over an area of about 527 hectares and has over 2500 industrial units in four phases. This estate is a part of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC). Vatva has un-interrupted power supplies and a special hi-tech Telephone Exchange to serve its various industrial units. 

Established in the year 1971, with just a handful of industrialists, the VATVA INDUSTRIES ASSOCIATION has today attained the position of largest industrial association in the whole Gujarat, with a membership more than 1500 units. It is better known to protect the interests of its esteemed members and industry as a whole. It has greatly contributed towards the growth & development of industries in the estate.
